January 2026 CLARA KÖPF || HIGH (ON) FASHION
About you/The performance: My name is Clara Köpf , I am an upcomming Circus artist and maker specialiesd mainly in Chinese Pole, graduated Codarts Circus arts. I am creating a solo show for indoor venues and outdoor stages which has the titel High(on)Fashion and talks about my frustration with fast fashion and overconsume of clothing. The aim is to raise awareness about the urgency of the topic and initiate rethinking fashion consumption on a small scale. Instead of a performance, High (on) Fashion is perceived more as an event where the audience is invited to take part in a circus performance about this topic and has the opportunity to exchange their clothes with each other. This experience will hopefully give a nudge on people’s choices towards clothes. Goal of residency: The goal of this residency was to refine details of the show and work on the overall Dramartugy of the piece , as it was the second last residency before the piece had its pre- premier on feb. 04 in Karlsruhe.
About the Circus Kapel:
Circus Kapel is a lovely cozy space in which my world of dreams and imaginations for my piece had the space to come alive.
